Job Swap for McGregor and Price at Nomads

Mark McGregor has stepped down to assistant manager at the NomadsGAP Connahs Quay have announced a job swap for their manager and asistant manager with Ken Price the new man at the top at the Deside Stadium, with Mark McGregor stepping down to become his assistant. A statement from the club today read;

Ken Price is the new Manager of the Nomads

"The playing and administrative management of GAP Connah's Quay Nomads have agreed that Mark McGregor and Ken Price will change positions at the club. Ken will become the Manager and Mark the Assistant Manager."

"Developing all players, from youth and junior to senior, by the highest standards of coaching is a vital element of the clubs strategic plan, and when Mark joined the club it was agreed that we would support him in getting his coaching certificates. This move will enable him to focus on achieving his 'A' certificate as soon as possible."

Player/Manager McGregor, who joined in the close season from Altrincham, and Price have worked as a team all season and the club state that they have done a tremendous job considering the turmoil of the close season.

"With this teamwork continuing, the club's management believe the short and long term objectives of both the club and the two managers will be met" continued the announcement.

This change will be effective after the Principality Welsh Premier Football League match at Technogroup Welshpool Town on Saturday 27th February.
