Bala sign striker and Irving Re-Signs

Chris Mason, a young striker has joined Bala after leaving Chorley for a spell in Malta with Floriana last summer.

Mason started out with League Two side Bury, where he had played in their reserve team. Has also played professionally in Sweden. Chris is the striker who has been listed as A trialist in the Bala pre-season and has netted seven goals from the five games played so far.

The Lakesiders are also delighted to have re-signed one of their Players of the Year from their inagural season. Full-back John Irving was voted Young Player of 2009/10 and the Lakesiders see the retention of the talented youngster as a major summer signing.
