Hartson backing the New League at Today's Re-Launch Event
Former Wales international John Hartson will be attending the Welsh Premier Football League's re-launch event at Bodelwyddan Castle, Denbighshire this morning at 11.30am.
The 51 times capped former Celtic and Arsenal striker is an advocat of the League and he will be showing his backing of the new structure by attending on behalf of the League's broadcaster S4/C. He will also be joined by his television colleagues, Malcolm Allen (another former Wales international striker) and Dylan Ebenezer who has recently joined Rondo Media from the BBC to be a regular presenter for the excellent Sgorio show.
Also attending the re-launch event, will be the managers and captain's or leading players from the twelve clubs, and Neath FC have confirmed that their £1m striker Lee Trundle will be supporting the event on the Eagels' behalf.
The event is being held to inform the media of the sponsorship and broadcasting arrangements for the 2010/2011 season and there will be a significant announcement made by the League as well as a few otehr surprises.
Representatives of the sponsor and broadcaster will be in attendance, for the Press Conference in the Sculpture Room at 11.30am followed by the opportunity to conduct interviews and take photographs in the Castle grounds.
