Robins And Darren Ryan Part Company
Manager Darren Ryan and his assistant Rhys Stephens have both stepped down following a board meeting last night at the clubs Latham Park headquarters.
Ryan was appointed manager in October 2006 when he succeeded Roger Preece and took the Robins to 13th in the table last season. He is only the 3rd Newtown manager in the 18 year history of the Welsh Premier League.
"Darren has assembled an excellent squad of players and he leaves the club in good shape".
Club Chairman Mike Jones was quick to thank the former manager for his stewardship over the past four seasons and praised his passion and enthusiasm for the game.

Club captain Gavin Cadwallader will take charge of training tonight and arrangements will be made for the home match against Northwich Victoria on Saturday.
The chairman Mike Jones said "the appointment of a successor is now critical and we need to act quickly.
"However, it is most important that the club makes the right appointment and I am confident that the club can attract the right candidates for the post.
The Robins first match in the re-structured Principality Welsh Premier League is away to Haverfordwest County on August 15th.
