Baggies interested in young Wingmaker
Premier League newcomers West Brom are the latest club to register an interest in the Airbus UK Broughton teenage sensation Jake Cassidy, according to Neil Turner from the Daily Post.
The 17-year-old, who played for Wolverhampton Wanderers Academy side against Coventry City last weekend and is spending this week training with the Molineux club, has been a revelation since he signed for the Wingmakers earlier this summer, registering seven goals in six outings, as well as turning in a succession of outstanding performances that belie his tender years.
Young Jake has done really well since coming to the club, he has all the ability in the world and for a 17 year old lad his strength is unbelievable
Besides Wolves and West Brom, League Two clubs Crewe Alexandra and Notts County have also made enquiries about the former Llandudno Junction striker who Craig Harrison brought to the Airfield this summer.
Last week, Harrison said;
"Young Jake has done really well since coming to the club, he has all the ability in the world and for a 17 year old lad his strength is unbelievable".
