Striker leaves Bangor to join Hyde
Bangor City striker Ashley Stott has left the club to join Hyde United.
Although he was a Bangor player, Stott didn't feature for the club in the UEFA Europa League matches and the impressive form of Alan Bull in those matches has made the former Principality Welsh Premier Young Player of the Year Award Winner surplus to requirements at Farrar Road.
He re-joined the club in June 2009 after a season away at Halifax. Upon his return, he played for the Citizens in their two Europa League matches against Honka Espoo of Finland.

The young striker was outstanding for the Citizens in his first spell at Farrar Road scoring 30 goals in 59 Welsh Premier appearances. He also scored the opener in the Welsh Cup Final win against Llanelli in May 2008, and his goals throughout that competition helped Bangor win the Welsh Cup. He also scooped the inaugural Principality Welsh Premier League Young Player of the Year Award in 2007/08.
He left Bangor on August 6th 2008 to join FC Halifax Town of the Unibond League, having played against FC Midjytlland in the UEFA Cup the previous month before his surprise departure.
He was signed by Bangor from Altincham in July 2006 and was a member of the Preston North End Youth and Reserve sides and was in the Preston team which gave Arsenal a huge fright in the FA Youth Cup, before going down to a controversial late penalty. He scored after just 65 minutes into his Citizens debut, in the 2006/07 opening victory against NEWI Cefn Druids
