Newtown v Prestatyn No Longer Live

The Principality Welsh Premier League is disappointed to report that the Newtown v Prestatyn game is now not being filmed live by S4C.

The League were informed by the Broadcaster that they have another commitment to honour and to compensate, S4/C will transmit another live game later in the season.

The match at Latham Park will still be filmed by a single camera and will form the featured game on Saturday evening and Monday night's Sgorio programme.

The Broadcaster did offer the club's the opportunity to have a 2.05pm KO on the Sunday instead, which would have been a live game, but it was felt by the Newtown Directors, that with a quick decision required, players and supporters, as well as sponsors, may well have made Bank Holiday arrangements for the Sunday.

The match will be played on Saturday 28th August, with a 2pm kick off.
