Port Talbot Town v Carmarthen Town (19:30)
Port Talbot Town go into this evening's match with a 100% win record to defend against Carmarthen Town, who also have a 100% record, but only courtesy of successive home defeats.
The Steelmen have defender Lee Surman back in contention at The GenQuip Stadium after serving a two-match suspension, but theye Ed form of youngster Kye Edwards and two clean sheets to date, could mean a place on the bench for the Wales Semi Professional international. Nathan Cotterrall will be hoping for a chance from the start this evening against his former club after a goal-scoring appearance from the bench in last Friday's game. Craig Jones continues to struggle following a hamstring injury sustained during the pre-season, although Nicky Holland has resumed training following a similar injury.
Port Talbot manager Mark Jones, who is the Old Gold's most successful manager having guided his former club to Europe and Welsh Cup glory said; "It will be a difficult game and you can't read too much into the League table after just two games. They have become a little bit of a bogey team, so it will be a tough match." Jones was referring to the fact that the Old Gold did the double over their rivals last season.
Haverfordwest County v Neath FC (19:30)
Without a game last weekend due to TNS's European involvement, Neath will be hoping to kick-start their season against the Bluebids at the Bridge Meadow Stadum.
The big-spending Eagles lost their only game to date against Bangor City on the opening Saturday, so they will be aiming for their first three points of the season against a Bluebirds' team who will also be targetting the same goal.
Derek Brazil's team have lost their opening two games by a solitary goal to Newtown and Prestatyn and with Neath's new-signings Lee Trundle, Chris Jones, Kristian O'Leary and Chad Bond all set to start for the visitors, this evening presents their biggest test of the campaign so far.
Matty Collins will make his home debut in midfield for the hosts against the team who were also rumoured to be after his signature. Brazil will have the same squad as last week on duty, with the addition of young striker Steffan Willliams.
