Haverfordwest County 0-3 Neath FC
Lee Trundle opened up his Neath account with a brace on Friday evening as the Eagles won 3-0 against the struggling Bluebirds.
Another ex-Swan, Kristian O'Leary got the visitors going with the opening strike on 22 minutes.
It wasn't until the final ten minutes that the visitors claimed all three points as the former £1m man scored his first league goals since he played for Rhyl in the 2000/01 season. His first strike came in the 80th minute with his second four minutes later.
Port Talbot Town 1-2 Carmarthen Town
Both sides went into the game with a 100% record but neither sustained it at the GenQuip Stadium, as a determined Carmarthen Town side gained their first points of the season against the previously unbeaten Steelmen.
Sasha Walters' run in the box in the first-half enforced a mistake upon Lloyd Grist, who handled on the floor and Cardiff referee, Kevin Morgan ponted to the spot. Tim Hicks confidently stepped up to beat Lee Kendall as the Old Gold took a 1-0 lead in at the break.
Carmarthen lost Lee Jenkins in the first-half and Geraint Passmore came on to replace him and the ex-Aberystwyth Town midfielder celebrated his debut with a maiden goal thanks to a clean strike from the edge of the box, which beat Kendall.
The Steelmen had hopes of a comeback when Morgan awarded his second penalty of the night with fifteen minutes remaining when Gary Bansor caught Liam McCreesh as Martin Rose converted in the bottom right corner. Luke Bowen had a good chance late on to grab the dramatic equaliser, but following good skill to set himself up with the chance, he fired against the outside of the post.
